Faroese Fine Art Print "Bastian"

Bastian is a shy and friendly Ram living in the small village of Æðuvík - The Faroe Islands.

The story about Bastian is actually quite funny, since he originally was never meant to be the new "Stud" of the heard. He avoided being seen and caught until it was to late to do anything other to just keep him as a spare ram. Then on the night when the other two rams got let out and poor little Bastian was left alone in his stall - he decided to jump the fence and make his own fun.

Long story short - Bastian's 30 ish baby lambs are do any day now and his blood tests just came back announcing that little Bastian is actually the best ram in the entire area. How cool is that ?

The flowercrown is specifically made and designed for Bastian with flowers to fit his charming nature and white coat. Also Bastian was happy to strike a few poses for a whole bunch of special sheep treats ;)

Showing the beauty of The Faroe Islands through my creativity has always been a dream of mine.

Living in this place surrounded by harsh seas, strong winds and dark winters photography started as a way to look for beauty in everything. Growing up in a small town as a farmers daughter, animals have always been close to my heart. Through this series I want to show the natural beauty and soul of these majestic creatures.
